The infrared inks provide enhanced security, since labels remain invisible even during the process of reading. UV light will not reveal the hidden labels.

The hand held battery powered data terminal for invisible barcodes model Wizard™ ARMC is similar in construction, appearance, and performance to the data terminal Wizard™ CT6. However, the Wizard™ ARMC is optimized for decoding the Armorcode™ 2-D barcode symbology developed by V.L. Engineering, Inc.

The hand held battery powered data terminal for invisible barcodes model Wizard™ CT8 is similar in construction, appearance, and performance to the data terminal Wizard™ CT6. However, the Wizard™ CT8 operates at the longer infrared wavelength near 900 nm.
