Wizard™ CT6: barcode decoded |
Features
- Allows finding, viewing and reading of invisible one- and
two-dimensional barcodes.
- Works with invisible bar codes printed with inks
fluorescing in the NIR (near infrared) range.
The infrared inks provide enhanced security, since labels
remain invisible even during the process of reading. UV light
will not reveal the hidden labels.
- Displays decoded data on its high-resolution video
screen.
- The Wizard™ CT6 offers various modes of operation
selectable by the user.
- It can store bar code data in its non-volatile
memory.
- Automatically verifies authenticity.
- High speed of operation.
- High immunity to image imperfections.
- Adaptability to contrast variations.
- Works well with range of substrates on which the labels
are applied.
- Tolerant to ambient light. Operates in the normal office
environment (does not require a dark room).
- Currently supported barcode symbologies: Interleaved 2/5,
Code 39, Code 128, Data Matrix, Armorcode™ (proprietary
compact 2-D barcode symbology). Other standard and/or
proprietary barcode symbologies may be added upon customer
request.
- Omnidirectional decoding, particularly suited for 2-D
barcode symbologies.
- Computer program resides in the Flash ROM for convenient
upgrades.
- Standard print density: 20 mils. Other densities and
special symbol dimensions can be provided on request.
- Communications interface: RS-232, 9600 baud.
- Customized versions of application software and label
symbologies are available.
- Convenient software upgrades and modifications through the
serial port.
- Safe to use (no laser radiation).
- Housing dimensions: 160 mm × 95 mm × 35
mm.
- Video screen dimensions: 53 mm × 38 mm.
- Tamper proof / Vandal proof (disables itself when
forcefully open).

Invisible Barcode Reader Wizard™ ARMC
Features
The hand held battery powered data terminal for invisible
barcodes model Wizard™ ARMC is similar in construction,
appearance, and performance to the data terminal Wizard™
CT6. However, the Wizard™ ARMC is optimized for decoding
the Armorcode™
2-D barcode symbology developed by V.L. Engineering,
Inc.

Invisible Barcode Reader Wizard™ CT8
Features
The hand held battery powered data terminal for invisible
barcodes model Wizard™ CT8 is similar in construction,
appearance, and performance to the data terminal Wizard™
CT6. However, the Wizard™ CT8 operates at the longer
infrared wavelength near 900 nm.
